The Challenge

This project involved a modern health centre designed to maximise natural light through a double-height glazed atrium.

While the design improved the internal environment, it introduced challenges around glare, heat and light control.

Clinical areas also required privacy solutions to support patient care and confidentiality.

The solution needed to balance light control within large rooflight areas while maintaining the building’s architectural intent.

Durability and long-term performance were essential within a busy healthcare setting.

System Design

Motorised pleated rooflight blinds were installed within the atrium.

Cubicle curtain tracks and roller blinds were installed across clinical areas.

Integration

The systems were designed to work across different parts of the building.
