Anti-Ligature Roller Blinds for Higher-Risk Environments

Kestrel roller blinds use magnetic wall or top-fix brackets to support the blind during normal operation.

When excessive downward force is applied, the aluminium back bar separates from the magnetic brackets, allowing the blind assembly to release from its fixing point.

Three control options are available, giving you a choice between conventional sidewinder operation, a detachable crank or a cord and chain-free slow-rise spring system. We can help you select the appropriate control method, fabric and fixing arrangement before providing trained installation, testing and handover support.

Slow-Rise Spring Roller Blind


A braked spring roller blind providing smooth, quiet and cord and chain-free operation for higher-risk healthcare and mental health environments.

The spring mechanism is enclosed within the 32 mm aluminium barrel, with controlled slow-rise operation to make the blind easy to use.
