Intelligent Blind Fabrics, Protecting You and The Environment
Anti-Bacterial
There is a renewed concern about fabrics spreading infections through cross-contamination by direct contact, so a pathogen fighting layer of defence will not only aid in infection control, but also prolong the life of the fabric and protect the surface from microbes. This is not only the case in healthcare, but also in offices and the home.
Our antimicrobial roller blinds prevent bacteria and other microbes from attaching and developing on the surface. They are treated with a coating which inhibits bacterial growth and allows a wipeable surface for complete removal. This coating also makes them moisture resistant which is ideal where they may be susceptible to stains and splashes. These are prefect for medical facilities, dental practices, schools, kitchens, bathrooms and toilets.
Eco-Friendly
To minimise wasting energy on heating, cooling and lighting, buildings should be constructed to be as energy-efficient as possible. Architects and interior designers can substantially minimise the amount of energy required for a building’s operations by selecting the most suitable material.
Enviroscreen Systems are naturally keen to protect the environment and have a range of fabrics that are environmentally friendly and manufactured from sustainable sources. PVC free and manufactured from plants, these fabrics have a cradle to cradle gold award and will significantly help your building contribute to BREEAM requirements. We also supply Cradle to Cradle certified screens that are made from ecological fabrics and recycled PET bottles, with production processes which are environmentally focused from start to finish.
Antimicrobial Fabrics
The vast majority of microbes don’t present a threat to humans. However, there are some microorganisms that can damage products and cause serious illnesses. Antimicrobial solutions are designed to destroy or inhibit their growth.
