Flexible Privacy for Clinical Environments

BarrierScreen is specified where patient privacy is required without fully closing off visibility across a ward.

The split-vision design allows staff to adjust the level of screening in use, providing full privacy, partial privacy or clear visibility as needed. Roll-up panels can be secured neatly in place, revealing a clear inner panel that maintains visual connection between staff and patients while keeping a protective barrier between bed spaces.

This approach supports patient dignity, observation and safety in environments where visibility and infection control must be carefully balanced.

Performance, Safety & Infection Control

BarrierScreen is designed for repeated use in demanding healthcare environments.

Manufactured from 4-ply PVC fabric, the curtain will not tear or stain and is resistant to mould and mildew. The wipe-clean surface allows curtains to be cleaned in situ using standard detergents as part of routine bed-space cleaning when a patient leaves.

The system is flame-retardant to BS 5867 Part 2 Type B, Biosafe® accredited, and Greenguard certified for low chemical emissions.
