The Sonata Roller blind system is operated via a sprung-friction controlled clutch mechanism. The friction clutch unit is operated by use of a heavy duty metal ball chain that winds the fabric on and off the aluminium barrel. A sprung pin end is slotted within the other end of the fabric roller that allows for easy mounting of the blind; this also enables quick release of the blind in situations where blinds have to be replaced, repaired or cleaned at a later date.

Blinds are manufactured with a heavy-duty aluminium roller tube with Envirotech® fabric locked into a groove in the barrel.

Fabric can be finished with either a weighting bar sewn within the fabric hem or a round / teardrop aluminium bottom bar finished in white powder coat or silver anodised aluminium.
